An Aberdeen-based engineering firm has recorded a strong performance in sales, recently landing over £4 million worth of new projects leading to the expansion of its workforce.
HVAC & Refrigeration Engineering is welcoming the success over the past six months which includes a new contract with Petrofac to provide services to one of their North Sea assets, as well as projects with global operators and service companies in the UK and overseas in locations which include Poland and Sakhalin in Russia.
Earlier this year, the firm also embarked on a three-year service contract for Apache North Sea to provide preventative maintenance services on eight North Sea assets, both onshore and offshore.
The firm, part of the Nucore Group, provides engineering, servicing and preventative maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment on a number of offshore installations.
It has already employed an additional 12 workers to support the growing operations both in the North Sea as well as internationally, and anticipates further expansion in the coming months.
Graham Thomson, Chief Executive, Nucore Group, said: “We continue to tender on projects at home and internationally which, if successful, will see us further expand our workforce.”
