A specialist ROV system rental company based in Aberdeenshire has won contracts worth a total of £2 million with two subsea firms in south-east Asia.
Aleron Subsea, which currently employs 20 people, was awarded the contracts following the successful completion of a project using a ROV system on a vessel in Indonesia.
Aleron currently has eight work class ROV systems, and offers full contract support for the supply, service and maintenance of complete ROV systems and their associated equipment. The Westhill-based company was set up five years ago.
A technician from the company will also be present throughout the projects in Indonesia to offer dedicated support.
Mike Bisset, Managing Director, Aleron Subsea, said: “Aleron has continued to win contracts throughout 2015, and the latest contract wins underlines our commitment to providing clients within the offshore and marine industry responsive, efficient and cost-effective ROV solutions.”
