Aiken Group diversifies with new base in Aiberdeen

Aiberdeen-based Aiken Group has opened a new base on the outskirts of the city to accommodate its latest expansion venture.

The company specialises in the provision of out-sourced engineering and specialist services principally accommodation and project management and has recently made ‘significant inroads’ into key onshore sectors, including new contracts totalling around £1 million.

In response to continuing customer demand, Aiken Group has announced an expansion into the accommodation module rental market and has opened a four-acre site at Marywell to house its rental fleet.

A company spokesman, explained: “With our Crombie Road headquarters operating at capacity, this additional site at Marywell provide the ideal base from which we can explore this new area of business and further enhance our ethos of diversification across the business.”
