Albatern and Energy4All speakers at Thrive Energy Club – Edinburgh, 30 May

Thrive for Energy Logo

The key speakers at the Thrive Energy Club – being held tomorrow (Friday May 30) in Edinburgh are:

David Campbell, Commercial Director, AlbaTERN

Paul Phare, Regional Development Manager, Scotland, Energy4All

Midlothian-based AlbaTERN designs WaveNET wave energy devices that capture energy from ocean waves and convert it into sustainable low-carbon electricity.

The WaveNET is AlbaTERN’s unique wave energy array system. Constructed from multiple SQUID modules, the array can be readily adapted to suit the specifications of the site and the customer’s power requirements.

Proposals for projects come to Energy4All from landowners, farmers, community groups and even commercial developers. In the case of most projects Energy4All has found that the best approach is to guide the community group or landowner through a self-assessment process. In this way the enquirer gets a much better understanding of what is involved, what the major hurdles are likely to be and whether the project is likely to be financially and technically viable.

The Thrive for Energy meeting is held from 8.00am – 10.00am in central Edinburgh. For full booking details:
