A new Glasgow-based energy and environmental consultancy has spun-out from Mabbett Environmental Planning, which was itself set up only 12 months ago.
Babbity Environmental has been sent up by managing director Dr. Gen Cannibal, who was operations director at Mabbett.
He said: “Essentially, we’re the same highly skilled people who were behind Terrenus Environmental, before the company went into partnership with Mabbett Environmental Planning.”
Cannibal and his Babbity partners have hit the ground running with an impressive project- and client-list which includes; –
- Port of Ardersier (Offshore wind turbine fabrication yard)
- Finnart Estate hydropower scheme
- Lor Renewables (Solar to Hydrogen Development)
- John Hogg Group (Auchrannie hydropower scheme)
Cannibal added: “Our business model involves having a small team of very experienced interdisciplinary consultants to act as a hub for our network of top independent specialists, that we have on call as and when we need them.
“In this way we can provide the most experienced skills needed to permit all types of renewable energy development, in a what is an increasingly unstable socio-political environment.”
