Aberdeen-based oil and gas service company Centrifuges Un-Limited has announced a new key staff appointment.

With a BA in Business Management, Aberdeen-born Alasdair Carstairs has a strong background in the oil and gas industry, having worked in a variety of sales and recruitment positions, most recently with operators, well management companies and drilling contractors to fulfil engineering requirements in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Commenting on his new role as sales engineer at Centrifuges Un-Limited, Alasdair said: “I have formed a number of key business relationships during my career and I look forward to developing these in my new role where my focus will be on capital sales with drilling contractors.”

 Centrifuges Un-Limited Managing Director Jim Shiach added: “The company continues to grow across all it chosen marketplaces and we look forward to Alasdair playing an important part in our future success.”

Centrifuges Un-Limited specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of a range of equipment including fuel/oily water separators, mud coolers for high pressure high temperature (HPHT) fluid management and the Elvos® slops treatment system. 

Key markets include Norway, Egypt, Brazil, the Middle East and North Africa as well as the UK, and clients include major operators, drilling contractors and waste management companies
