Aberdeen-based energy consultancy Xodus Group has been presented with the Silver Corporate Partner Award by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
The company received the recognition for its commitment to supporting engineers’ professional development and advocating the profession to school pupils through various outreach activities.
Each year, Xodus helps budding engineers develop key skills through industrial and university placements schemes provided by the company. Undergraduates work on real industry projects to put their knowledge into practice.
Its engineers are also supported and encouraged to participate in voluntary work, and many are active members of IChemE’s Oil and Natural Gas Special Interest group, and Aberdeen Members Group.
Steve Swindell, managing director of Xodus Group said: “This honour recognises our achievements in meeting IChemE’s standard for commitment to the chemical engineering profession, and its standards for the training and professional development of our staff.”
