CKD Galbraith – the independent property consultancy with offices throughout Scotland – has been appointed as sole agent to market an operational wind turbine development that benefits from an accreditation under the Feed-in Tariff regime.
The firm is sole agent for the development, which encompasses a two-turbine site near Oldhamstocks in East Lothian, utilising Enercon E48 turbines with a total installed capacity of 1500KW.
The scheme has been operational for just over two years and benefits from a strong suite of historic operational data while continuing to offer a lengthy period of Feed-in Tariff (FiT) support.
The location has a strong wind resource and Calum Innes, Partner at CKD Galbraith, said that the operation would likely be of interest to investors looking to expand a portfolio of FiT-qualifying renewable electricity generation assets.
He added: “With the compelling returns offered by FiT schemes, this is a rare and highly attractive investment opportunity. Add to this that the development is underpinned by a popular turbine model with a strong O&M offer and this is an ideal scheme for the FiT portfolio operator.”
