On Friday this week, the Scottish Energy Association will be hosting the UK Shale Energy Conference in Glasgow (25 September)
The subject of shale energy is one that has been at the forefront of the industry for some time now and as we move forward it is vital to consider all the facts.
As the voice of the energy industry in Scotland, we wish to help with the debate covering a balanced mix of energy needed to meet our demand, achieve carbon reductions and be affordable in order for us to come to a better informed conclusion.
Helping to reach a broader audience, the Scottish Energy Association is supported by marketing and digital media agency, fatBuzz and OGIC – the Oil & Gas Innovation Centre – along with our partners Scottish Energy News.
At the conference, will be facilitating the debate to give everyone in attendance, as well as the public at large, the best opportunity to hear the facts from experts on both sides and make an informed choice on where they stand. This does not only apply specifically to shale energy, but to all energy sources and the issues around them.
We are proud to be in a position where we can help those on both sides of the debate present the facts properly at the UK Shale Energy Conference.
This is of course open to all of our members, but also open to any non-members and the public who may be interested in finding out more.
We do hope you can come and join us.
