Crown Estate Scotland intends to launch ScotWind Leasing in spring

Crown Estate Scotland confirmed on 23 March that intends to officially launch ScotWind Leasing in spring 2020 as previously stated, despite the ongoing disruption caused by the coronavirus.

It emphasised that any launch will fully adhere to relevant government guidance on preventing the spread of COVID-19 and that the situation may potentially increase the time that organisations require in order to submit applications to ScotWind Leasing.

Crown Estate Scotland will take this into account when confirming the timescale and next steps for the process, which it hopes to do in the coming weeks.
