Crown Estate Scotland to invest £70mn in sustainable development over 2020-23

Crown Estate Scotland announced on 1 April that it will invest £70mn over 2020-23 to support coastal community regeneration, green energy and sustainable food production. This was confirmed in its three-year plan, which outlines its strategy to manage sea, land and coastline resources to support Scotland’s communities and businesses. Specifically, £70m will be invested in commercial-scale offshore wind leasing, a new communities fund and new food production techniques.
