These photograph show a truck and a specially-built extend-able trailer carrying a 197ft blade for a wind-turbine making a very tight right-turn on route through the Highlands.
The HGV was heading along the A87 between Loch Cluanie and Invergarry towards a new Scottish wind farm being constructed near Fort Augustus.
The trailer – with steer-able rear wheels controlled from the cab – was made and supplied by a Dutch manufacturer, but the driver works for a local haulage contractor.
