ECCI publish flagship report on Scottish Low Carbon Innovation

ECCI logoThe Low Carbon Innovation project – specially commended by the Scottish Government as a key contributor to the achievement of the 2020 Climate Change targets – comes to an end next month.

Its flagship report – alongside a low carbon awards ceremony – will be published on 29 April in Edinburgh.

The Low Carbon Challenge looked to address the emerging opportunities arising from the area of big data/open data by challenging individuals and businesses to design innovative solutions to unlock and utilise the data available to help address the challenges of low carbon/climate change.

The project was a key building block in the early development of the Edinburgh Centre for Climate Change (ECCI).

Over the four years ECCI’s team engaged with over 1,000 organisations to create new low carbon products  and services and millions of pounds of turnover for the Scottish economy and help transform the low carbon innovation landscape.
