Scotland’s first low carbon ideas incubator is seeking applications for its fourth round of recruitment for bright spark renewable energy micro-companies to join its Low Carbon Ideas Lab.
The Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI) provides support, mentoring and award-winnning lo-carb accommodation for new ideas that accelerate Scotland’s progress towards a low carbon economy.
Launched in October 2014, the lab has gone through three rounds of recruitment, supporting a total of 13 entrepreneurs from various sectors, such as water, smart cities, and transport. As a result, these ECCI Lab-clients:-
- Created 13 new products or services
- Created seven new jobs
- Secured investment for more than half the intake, and
- Resulted in five of them becoming industry award winners, including eSpark Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Shell, Scottish Edge and VIBES!
