Energy Action Scotland (EAS) is the Scottish charity campaigning for the eradication of fuel poverty. It has a full time vacancy based in Glasgow.
Training and Project Officer
Starting Salary £22,042
Responsible for delivering training focused on domestic energy, renewable energy and affordable warmth. The post-holder will also contribute to a range of affordable warmth-related projects.
Experience of delivering training to a wide-ranging client group and the ability to develop appropriate training and support materials is essential. An understanding of fuel poverty/energy efficiency would be an advantage.

Legal Counsel – Vattenfall Windpower – Edinburgh
Overall purpose of the role As the demand for legal expertise in our Renewables business continues to grow, we are looking to recruit for our Legal Affairs Renewables team in the UK. You will mainly be dedicated to our onshore Scottish projects assisting on the full remit of legal matters affecting projects including development, property, grid, supply chain and corporate governance. The remit is diverse and challenging and you will need to be commercially aware, pragmatic and able to work effectively under pressure. You will be an exceptional and talented individual with good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
Qualification You will be a Scottish qualified lawyer, with solid commercial experience gained at a respected law firm or in-house and with over 5 years PQE. Ideal candidates will have experience in onshore renewable energy matters.
Location Edinburgh or Hexham, but Edinburgh is preferred. This position will involve travelling to different UK/European locations.
