Following our launch in September 2013, the Scottish Energy News business-to-business daily email newsletter ended last year by more than doubling subscribers.  It is now sent to more than 4,400 individually-named and actively-subscribed readers – every day.  

Readers include 75% of MSPs in the Scottish Parliament – and many more in Brussels and Westminster. In addition, the Scottish Energy News website is now visited by an average of more than 9,000 unique visitors per month (Jan-Mar 2015).

Project Manager – Assisting Communities to Connect to Electric Sustainable Sources (ACCESS)

ACCESS is a two year innovation demonstration project to test whether new electric heating systems can be used to accurately track the variable output of a renewable generator. The target for the trial is to install new electric heating systems and intelligent controls to approximately 100 households, and two small businesses, across the Isle of Mull, in Argyll. ACCESS has received funding from the first round of the Scottish Government’s Local Energy Challenge Fund.
