The Energy Isles – low carbon tourism in the Outer Hebrides 2015 – 2016 prooject

Tighean Innse Gall (TIG)  in partnership with Outer Hebrides Tourism are delighted to have received funding from the Coastal Communities Fund to deliver a major energy efficiency project for tourism related industry in the Outer Hebrides.

Tighean Innse Gall (TIG)  is now recruiting for a team to deliver this project.  Applicants are sought for the following posts:

‘The Energy Isles’

Project Manager: Grade PA 17–20 £29,141 – £31,530  To manage the project, budgets and oversee installations -reporting to our Committee and Funders on customer satisfaction, carbon and financial savings made.

Project Officer (Southern Isles) : Grade PA 13–16 £25,828 – £28,311  (pro rata 2 days pw) To co-ordinate the delivery of energy efficiency measures in tourism related industry across the Outer Hebrides with a focus on the Southern islands from Berneray to Barra & Vatersay.

Project Officer (Lewis & Harris) : Grade PA 13–16 £25,828 – £28,311  (pro rata 3 days pw) To co-ordinate the delivery of energy efficiency measures in tourism related industry across the Outer Hebrides with a focus on the Islands of Lewis & Harris.

Project Finance & Administration Officer: Grade PA 09–12 – £20,856 – £23,340 To process invoices, organise travel for the team and provide all administrative support for the project including compiling information and statistics for all reporting.

The Energy Isles Apprenticeship in Business & Enterprise: AP1 £10,000 – £11,400 We are seeking a confident, motivated and enterprising young person to undertake a recognised Apprenticeship leading to a Level 3 Diploma in Enterprising Skills in a Business Environment QCF qualification. This will be undertaken whilst carrying out all aspects of the project with a view to developing new projects with the project team as a legacy for the Committee & Funders.
