EO Charging named LEVC charging partner in Scotland

Electric vehicle (EV) charger manufacturer EO Charging has been selected as the London EV Company’s (LEVC) official charging partner in Scotland, Electrive announced on 19 August.

As part of the deal, EO will supply and install smart home charge points across the nation and owners of LEVC vehicles will be offered an EO Mini Pro – a small EV home smart charging unit.

Ryan Spillane, Head of Commercial Sales at EO Charging, said: “Scotland introduced its first low-emission zone (LEZ) in Glasgow last year, a clear indication of the country’s commitment to reducing congestion and improving air quality. With plans being drawn up for low-emission zones in Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen – taxi and commercial vehicle drivers need to think carefully about the next vehicle they purchase.”

Richard Turnbull, Head of EV Infrastructure at LEVC, said: “Smart home charging provides our customers with a range of benefits including the ability to schedule charging and take advantage of off-peak energy tariffs, which is especially important to commercial vehicle operators.”
