Fire safety specialist Blaze appoints new Safety and Marketing managers

Blaze Manufacturing Solutions  Рan award winning north-east oil and gas industry fire safety protection company Рhas appointed Cara Beamish as Business Manager, and Bill Cunningham as General Manager of the safety critical systems division.

Blaze, which was launched in 2006, works with major oil and gas operators to design and supply fire protection systems and loss prevention services.

The company recently invested half a million pounds in new headquarters at Laurencekirk Business Park, and the firm also has an engineering office in Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, a regional project office in Great Yarmouth and southern sales office in Milton Keynes.

Beamish, who will be predominantly based at Laurencekirk, has held a number of management roles in the last 15 years. As part of the Blaze management team, she will oversee marketing strategies, HR, IT, administration and facilities management at the company.

Cunningham has 24 years experience in the oil and gas industry, and worked latterly as a regional general manager for a major name in the industry. His role at Blaze will focus on the company’s specialist environmental engineering services.
