Glacier Energy Services is expanding its workforce, creating 12 new jobs at its heat exchanger business based its workshop and warehouse facilities at Dalgety Bay, Fife and at its offshore operations head office in Aberdeen.
The oilfield service provider’s heat exchanger business Ross Offshore, which moved into 15,000 sq ft premises at St David’s Business Park in Fife last year, is hiring for HSEQ manager, workshop/offshore technician, workshop supervisor, workshop mechanical fitter and offshore mechanical fitter, administration and reception positions.
A further sales management position is also being created at Glacier’s offshore division at Peterseat, Altens in Aberdeen.
Glacier provides specialist services for energy infrastructure – delivering heat exchanger service and manufacturing through Ross Offshore and MSL Heat Transfer, precision pipe-cutting equipment and onsite services through Roberts Machining Solutions, non-destructive testing through PTS, and weld overlay solutions through Wellclad.

Set up in 2011, Glacier Energy Services has a staff of 240 people and turns over more than £30 million a year. It supports operators and service companies on projects from the commissioning phase to full in-operations lifecycle of oil and gas platforms and vessels, windfarms and infrastructure in the energy and petrochemical industries.
