Good Energy wins 2016 UK Renewable Company of Year award

Good Energy Customer Care Team 1 (1)Renewable energy company Good Energy – which supplies 100% renewable electricity and green gas –  took home two awards at the 2016 British Renewable Energy awards at the Renewable Energy Association awards this year.

It won trophies for ‘Company of the Year’ and ‘Customer Service Recognition.

David Brooks, Managing Director at Good Energy, said: “It’s been a great week for Good Energy.

“Supporting customers and the environment is at the core of our ethos. Winning awards gives us an extra burst of inspiration to keep working towards a more sustainable, renewable future for them.

Dr Nina Skorupska CBE, Chief Executive of the REA, said: “Good Energy are genuine market leaders, showing you can be an ethical and competitive energy provider, successful business and have exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

“The judges were impressed with the commitment Good Energy show to customer service, and were worthy winners in both categories.”

Will Heinzelmann from Good Energy’s innovation team was also highly commended in the ‘Young Renewable Energy Professional’ category.

The company scooped the awards following its work to make a positive contribution to communities, society and the environment, and for its customer service, which continues to set the bar for the rest of the industry.
