Sustained overseas business success of an Aberdeen specialist in operational geology software and services to the oil & gas industry has resulted in the firm receiving its second Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
HRH Geology has been presented with the prestigious accolade for outstanding achievement (growth) over three years.
With a turnover of £11 million, HRH recorded international sales at more than £6 million for the financial year ending March 2015.
Recent successes for the business include a large software related contract in Indonesia and the first deployment of its innovative advanced gas analysis service in the Middle East.
In addition, the firm has been involved with an unconventional oil shale project in Jordan to provide customised software solutions to manage geological drilling operations. This has been supported with the supply of training experts to mentor the local workforce.
Dawood Khan, HRH Managing Director, said: “The strength of our technology is its flexibility and that it can be adapted to different well types and local situations. We have an innovative approach to operational geology, we develop it here in the UK and apply our skills and technology all around the world.”
In 2013, HRH Geology was awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in recognition of its continuous achievement over six years.
