Italian biomass boiler manufacturer Uniconfort has set up a new base to support 275 of its boilers which have been installed in the UK.

Its new Technical Service group, Uniconfort-UK is based in Lincolnshire, from where its 199kW to 5.8MW and LTHW, MTHW and Steam installations will be supported. Uniconfort-UK is the only opportunity for boiler owners to work directly with the boiler manufacturer.

The company manufactures hot water, superheated water, thermal oil, steam and hot oil biomass boilers and have developed co-generation plants that in addition to producing heating also generate electricity and cooling thanks to integrated cycle turbines.

Uniconfort has been working successfully in the biomass and thermal technology field, providing solutions for generating thermal energy from wood chip and pellets as well as other biomass fuels from agriculture waste (olive and vineyard waste, straw and husk, horse and poultry litter), food processing waste and the forest and wood working industry.

It has installed more than 2,800 biomass boilers worldwide – each delivering thermal power from 90kW to 25MW – in more than 100 countries.
