Jacobs completes acquisition of Wood Nuclear business

Technical professional services firm Jacobs completed its acquisition of Aberdeen-based Wood Nuclear on 9 March for an enterprise value of approximately £250mn.

The acquisition expands Jacobs’ UK employee base to nearly 11,000. It plans to invest in the UK’s largest independent nuclear research, development and testing facilities at Birchwood Park near Warrington.
