
Aberdeen-based oil and gas measurement consultancy and software services provider Kelton Engineering has appointed Iain Pirie as Managing Director.
His previous experience in the industry includes working for Rhomax Tyco as General Manager and for Mobil North Sea where he worked with the maintenance and reliability group before focusing full time on metrology.
Currently celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Kelton employs 50 people – including 30 consultants who have over 500 man years of experience in the management, operation and maintenance of flow measurement systems.
Tony Mansfield, Chairman, Kelton Engineering, said: “Iain has been a great asset, sharing his knowledge and building up a strong operational team in his previous position as Operational Director of our Northern Business Unit up in Aberdeen.
“In his new role, he will be focusing on further developing our capabilities to ensure we meet the needs of our clients locally and internationally.”
