Local community to be offered shares in wind farm

The Assel Valley Community Renewables Society is to launch a share offer to raise £1mn for a community stake in Assel Valley Wind Farm in Ayrshire, Scotland.

Announced on 25 February by community energy group Energy4All, the wind farm is comprised of 10 2.5MW turbines with a total capacity of 25MW and was developed and built by Falck Renewables Wind.

Parties can now register their interest to receive a copy of the share offer document when it is ready.
