Energy services company LR Senergy and emerging new business EnergyOne have formed a strategic alliance to support business development in Norway and internationally.
Established in 2005 as Senergy, the company became LR Senergy after Lloyd’s Register (LR) Group made a significant investment in the Aberdeen-headquartered company which employs more than 600 people worldwide.
LR Senergy’s Norway business has been acquired through a management buy-out and will now trade under the company name of EnergyOne.
Working in collaboration, the two organisations can provide project management, well engineering and development solutions, as well as an associated suite of software solutions.
Øystein Roti, Chief Executive at EnergyOne, was vice-president of Aligned Services at LR Senergy before the buy-out of Senergy AS.
He said: “EnergyOne is now well positioned to expand our subsurface and well engineering services through strategic partnerships with oil companies and service companies alike, in the Middle East, in Africa and around the North Sea”.
