Mott McDonald wins £100,000 Scottish Futures Trust carbon advice contract

Mott MacDonald logoThe employee-owned management, engineering and development consultancy Mott McDonald has been appointed technical adviser to Scottish Futures Trust (SFT) for a £100,000 carbon advice contract.

It will provide technical advice and support principally in respect of  the trust’s low carbon work streams including consultancy, energy consultancy services, building services design consultancy services, building services maintenance consultancy service and measurement and verification services.

Mott MacDonald is a global management, engineering and development consultancy. They add value for public and private clients on agenda-setting, next-generation projects worldwide. Claiming to save customers money and time, reduce risks, increase efficiency, maximise sustainable outcomes and advance best practice.

The Scottish Futures Trust works with the public sector to deliver the best possible value where money is being spent on bricks and mortar. During 2013 – 2014, SFT helped secure £139 million in savings and benefits to infrastructure investment in Scotland.

SFT currently leads on or supports a diverse portfolio of projects across Scotland which helps attract more than £4bn of additional investment over and above traditional capital budgets.
