
Fred Olsen Windcarrier has promoted Even Larsen to the post of chief executive after three years with the company.
He joined Olsen in 2013 and worked on innovation and product development before becoming project manager for the Global Tech I project. In 2014, Even became Head of Commercial and Projects.
A qualified naval architect, Larsen also holds a Master’s degree in Marine Hydrodynamics.
Now employing 800 staff, Fred Olsen Windcarrier was established in 2008 to service the growing offshore wind sector. The company currently owns and operates two purpose-built jack-up vessels – Bold Tern and Brave Tern – and a fleet of eight modern service vessels for transporting crew and equipment to and from offshore wind farms.
