New company enters Scottish offshore wind market

The Renewable Infrastructure Development Group (RIDG) announced on 27 January that it has entered the offshore wind market with the intention to create opportunities for the Scottish supply chain.

The company is working towards ScotWind – Crown Estate Scotland’s seabed leasing process for new offshore wind farms.

Its “alignment model” will ensure that suppliers are more familiar with their projects at key decision points, “reducing technical and financial risks, and increasing supply chain competitiveness.”
