New jobs on the horizon in Caithness with EnerQuip
EnerQuip, a new Aberdeen oil and gas services business, has added a new director to its team and is aiming to recruit people to new jobs over the next 12 months as it re-locates to Caithness.
Andrew Robins joins the company as controls director. The business provides torque machines and associated services to the drilling and downhole tools sectors.
EnerQuip has recently acquired a large workshop, yard and office facility in Lybster, Caithness, to host fabrication and repair activities and is planning to move its existing Aberdeen-based headquarters into a larger facility in the north in 2016.
The business is expects to recruit an additional three people by the end of year taking the company’s staff to 12 people. EnerQuip’s key products include a range of bucking units and fully rotational makeup and breakout torque machines and associated products, such as jar testers, containerised workshops and pipe handling systems.
