Next month the px group is due to take on the operation of one of the UK’s largest gas processing operations at St. Fergus in Aberdeenshire.

And the new man in charge of safety at the plant will be Mark Kenrick, who has been appointed as Stockton-based px Director of Safety, Health, Environment and Risk Management.

Previously, he was Chief Executive of Lotte Chemical UK between January 2012 and September 2015.

St. Fergus is a fully integrated energy infrastructure solutions business with over 400 people, providing operations and maintenance, engineering consultancy and energy trading services.

Meanwhile, Expro has appointed Mike Jardon as Chief Executive in succession to Charles Woodburn.

Jardon joined Expro in 2011 as Chief Operating Officer, after holding senior roles within Schlumberger’s wireline, completions, well testing and subsea businesses, and at Vallourec & Mannesmann, where he led the organisation’s commercial activities across North America.
