Offshore container and module manufacturer OEG Offshore has delivered cargo carrying units for rental supply agreements in Europe and Africa since the start of 2017.

In Africa OEG has been awarded contracts with independent oil and gas and service companies to supply several hundred offshore containers, tanks, baskets and skips in support of drilling exploration activities offshore Cote D’Ivoire and Senegal, West Africa.

These recent contracts continue to be fulfilled from OEG’s full service base in Aberdeen as well as multiple partner locations in The Netherlands, Angola and Ghana.

OEG will also deliver over 100 standard cargo units for a three year pan-European rental agreement with a major drilling contractor.

The first tranche of units left Aberdeen last month to start work in the UK and further NORSOK units will be mobilized from their Dusavik base to be utilised offshore Norway.

The Aberdeen firm has also delivered several DNV 2.7-1 A60 Zone 2 engineering cabins for short & long term rental contracts in support of decommissioning & plug and abandonment activities in the North Sea, UK and Dutch sectors as well as onshore exploration activities in Albania.
