
The offshore trade association Oil & Gas UK has announced three new Board appointments:
Elisabeth Proust, managing director of Total – who replaces the retiring Philippe Guys – will represent operators; so too will Tove Stuhr Sjøblom, Statoil’s managing director in Aberdeen, who replaces Gunnar Breivik of Statoil.
Neil Sims, vice-president for the Europe CIS Region at Expro, will represent contractors: He replaces Doug Sedge of Sparrows Offshore Group.
Tendeka invests in new training and R&D centre
Tendeka has invested in a new Advanced Completions Technology and Training Centre in Aberdeen to enhance performance from its industry-leading wireless intelligent completions, reservoir monitoring technologies and advanced data management and utilisation software solutions.
The new facility, which covers 8,500 sq. ft. comprises an R&D assembly and testing area for performance and extended life qualification testing, engineering offices and a training centre.
