An Aberdeenshire specialist oil and gas industry fire safety protection company has made a series of key appointments to meet demand from clients.

Blaze Manufacturing Solutions, which is headquartered in Laurencekirk, has appointed eight new members of staff to its workforce as it continues to secure contracts with major names in the industry.

Established in 2006, Blaze Manufacturing works primarily with companies within the oil and gas sector. It specialises in the design and supply of fire protection, fire and gas detection, control systems, loss prevention and consultancy services.

Since 2012, Blaze has had a 500% growth in turnover to £19 million this financial year.

The new additions to the Blaze team, who have over 150 years of industry experience between them, will be based at the company’s Laurencekirk and Kemnay offices, boosting the number of employees to 32 members of staff and 67 contractors.
