Aberdeen pupils visit EnQuest HQ for careers day
A group of Aberdeen pupils (pictured above) have learned about the wide range of career opportunities in the oil and gas industry following a recent visit to the local office of EnQuest – the largest independent producer in the N. Sea.
The 30 youngsters from Tullos Primary School gained an insight into careers and experiences during their time with staff from across EnQuest’s business: from reception, security, human resources and communications to IT, engineering, and geology.
An Enquest spokeswoman said: “Whilst our industry continues to operate in a challenging business environment, there are many exciting, long-term career prospects in this, a global industry with a vibrant future ahead.
“Each of us has a duty to inspire our young people to join the energy sector and to help them get as much experience as possible and to nurture the next generation of leaders. I hope that our latest collaboration with Tullos Primary has helped to spark interest and aspirations.”
