PEOPLE, PROJECTS & TECHNOLOGY: ACE Winches haul senior managers on board

Aberdeenshire-based ACE Winches has promoted two managers to its board.

Richard Wilson, who recently joined as head of the Engineering Division, now steps up to the board of as Chief Operating Officer, in succession to Graham Thomson, who has retired after 27 years in the industry.

And Hayley Yule recently appointed as Marketing and Communications Director,now becomes a member of the senior management team overseeing Marketing and IT.

 

Blanch and Bunt team up at Oilgen

Meanwhile, Aberdeen-based oil reservoir consultancy Oilgen has secured the services of Bruce Blanche and Richard Bunt.

Oilgen managing director Laurent Schirrer met the pair when they worked together at Melrose Resources in Edinburgh, now known as Petroceltic. During this time, the trio spent time discovering and developing large gasfields in Egypt and making the first ever oil discovery in the Nile Delta.

Blanche is also an honorary Professor at the Institute of Petroleum Engineering’s School of Energy at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh.
