PEOPLE, PROJECTS & TECHNOLOGY: Despite downturn, North Sea Power Solutions recruits for growth

North Sea Power SolutionsNorth Sea Power Solutions is celebrating its official launch as a full-time concern after being set up three years ago by electrical support engineer and entrepreneur Graeme Harper.

And despite the current industry downturn, NSPS client-base has expanded to include CNOOC-Nexen, Total E&P UK, Talisman Sinopec and Marathon Oil, as well Noble Corporation and Teekay Pertrojarl.

Currently based at Clinterty, Aberdeenshire, the NSPS team (pictured) provides a range of electrical engineering solutions, as well as thermography, condition monitoring, project management and training. New appointments include Frazer Russell (Sales & Procurement Manager), Brian Kerr (Operations Manager), Roy Kemp (Senior Field Service Engineer) and Mandy Livingstone (Senior Operations Administrator).

Managing Director Harper said: We are now on the approved vendor list of numerous companies and are also close to sealing new premises as part of our strategic organic growth plan, which is on track to treble turnover year on year.”
