A Scottish control and instrumentation company has entered into a business alliance with a Houston-based accumulator manufacturer.

Rig Control Products (RCP), which is headquartered in Aberdeen and also has an office and workshop in Singapore, has partnered with Accumulators Inc. following discussions during a recent industry event in Texas.

Ben Knight, Managing Director, said: “The new business alliance will see RCP provide Accumulators Inc. with a European and South-east Asian distribution channel for the support and supply of its products across these regions.

“The alliance with the US-based company will strengthen our position as a leading supplier in the global oilfield supply of accumulator products and spares, and will also allow RCP to diversify into new markets across Europe and South-east Asia.

RCP was one of 60 Scottish oil and gas supply chain companies that visited the US event.
