The second annual conference of the Energy Academy at Heriot Watt University is being held on 28 March in Edinburgh.
Keynote speakers include Kat White, Head of Energy & Climate Change Projects, who will discuss the Scot-Govt’s ambitious Scottish energy strategy.
Other speakers include:
- David Sanders, Commercial Director, Dearman – will discuss the cold energy opportunity and in particular the Dearman Engine – “The engine powered by thin air – clean cold power”
- Dr Robin Westacott who will lead in a session focussed on skills development and for SMEs, the opportunities afforded by the new Heriot-Watt Graduate Apprenticeship programme, and
- Robyn Thomas, Head of Innovation Programmes and Innovation, NERC, will talk about “Transformative innovation: the energy sector and the impact of environmental science”.
