Scot-Govt. seeks unpaid marine energy advisors

The Scot-Govt. is seeking to appoint three new (unpaid) members to its sea-surface wave power quango – set up after some of the brightest prospects in the Scottish marine energy sector sank into bankruptcy.

The advisory group guides Wave Energy Scotland to ‘support wider Scottish efforts to develop the wave energy sector.’

The body has sunk £15 million in public investment into more than 50 would-be wave power operators in the past two years.
