Scotland’s POWERful women included in UK launch event today with Baroness Verma

Scotland will be included in tonight’s launch of the UK POWERful Women report in the House of Commons Terrace Pavilion, which is being hosted by Baroness Sandy Verma, Minister for Energy and Climate Change in the House of Lords.

Speakers include Liberal MP Jo Swinson, the Government Minister for Women, and Lord Davies, chairman of the Independent Review of Women on Boards.

Among those invited from Scotland are Rachel Furlong, Offshore and Marine Policy Manager, and Lindsay McQuade, Policy and Innovation Director at Scottish Power Renewables and Rosie MacRae, HR manager at SSE.
