Scottish electrical energy group forms joint venture with Abu Dhabi partner

Norco Group – a privately-held Scottish electrical energy specialist – has formed a joint venture agreement with Al Yaseah Oil & Gas Industry Supplies & Services of Abu Dhabi.

The venture was brought together by Oil & Gas Innovation UAE Ltd, a technology development consultancy operating in Aberdeen and the United Arab Emirates.

Norco Group is an independent specialist in stored electrical energy systems and battery-backed AC and DC uninterruptible power supply systems across industry. Based in Aberdeen, it has a 30-year track record of international operation

Director Walter Tombleson said “Norco is delighted to be entering in to this joint venture along with Al Yaseah. Our goal is to support existing clients operating in the region and develop constructive business relations with new clients including ADNOC and its Operating Companies.”

Al Yaseah Managing Director Khalid Qubaisi commented “It is clear that there is a large demand for Norco’s specialist services and we will work together to become the leading provider of battery-backed systems and associated services in the UAE”.
