The all-sector Scottish Energy Association has welcomed yet another new member in 2016. Not only is Vento Ludens the most recent organisation to join – they’re also the 50th member to join the SEA
Vento Ludens Limited is a family owned business, which has been working successfully as developer and owner of renewable energy installations since 2000.
When translated into English, ‘vento ludens’ means “playing with the wind”.
Kristy Docherty, Business Director at Vento Ludens, stated: “As a company we are wholly dedicated to producing clean, renewable energy and our team has unparalleled dedication to, and enthusiasm for, solar, wind and hydro projects.
“The Scottish Energy Association offers not only industry insight but also fantastic knowledge sharing and networking opportunities and we look forward to building commercial relationships with other members and organisations across the energy supply chain”.
Hector Grant, Chief Executive, added: “Since we re-branded as the Scottish Energy Association last year, our membership has increased by nearly 50% and we are delighted to have welcomed so many great organisations, which have not only attended but also contributed to many of our knowledge sharing events since joining.
“The Scottish Energy Association is dedicated to strengthening commercial relationships, providing knowledge sharing and networking opportunities throughout the year.
“Our final event of the year takes place on 15 December, with a short AGM for members and an insight into City Refrigeration from founder Lord Willie Haughey.”
