2015 was a good year for Scottish Energy News. And 2016 is already shaping up to be a great year!
- In November 2015, Scottish Energy News.com attracted just under 14,000 unique visitors to the website – an all-time record high.
- And in the 12-month period from Jan-Dec 2015, the number of unique website visitors overall grew year on year by just under 25%.
- The average number of visitors to the Scottish Energy News.com website in 2015 was just under 10,500 every month.
Meanwhile, the number of actively-registered and individually-subscribed readers who have signed up to receive the free daily e-mail newsletter from Scottish Energy News has been maintained at near 5,000 per day.
And it’s all still free of charge.
Unlike some local publishers, Scottish Energy News does not put a pay-wall ‘tax’ on your good news because we want to spread the good news about the Scottish energy industries, to share best practice and to help all sectors to grow.
The year ahead is even more exciting as Scottish Energy News continues to expand and make it the ‘go to’ No. 1 media channel for all of Scotland’s energy news.
Following the success of the first UK Shale Energy Conference in 2015, Scottish Energy News is collaborating with the Scottish Energy Association to hold the 2016 UK Shale Energy Conference in Glasgow in September this year.
And in addition, Scottish Energy News is collaborating with the Energy Institute at the University of Aberdeen to hold the first ‘collaboration conference’ on how – in the national interest – we can help the UK oil and gas industry get MER out of the North Sea. This event will be held on 14 April 2016 at the King’s College Centre at the University of Aberdeen.
A full programme and speaker details for both conferences will be published shortly – so watch this space for more information and for details on delegate prices and sponsorship/ exhibition packages.
