The number of visitors to the Scottish Energy News website rocketed upwards by a record 267% in July 2016 (see chart, left).
Last month, there was a total of 44,907 unique visitors to the website, compared to 16,809 the previous month – both record figures.
And with only 10 days of this month (ie appx 30% of Aug 2016) passed to date of today’s publication, the Scottish Energy News website has received a total of 14,028 unique visitors so far; so if the trend continues at the same record rate, the total at the end of this month will also be well over 40,000 unique web site visitors.
In the first half of this year (Jan-Jun 2016) the average number of unique visitors to the Scottish Energy News website totalled 16,503 every month – which is an increase of more than 50% on last year.
As well as the UK, the top 10 countries of readership-origin include the USA, Germany, France, Norway, Portugal and China.
Additionally, Scottish Energy News delivers a daily email bulletin to 5,000 individually-named energy professionals (in oil, gas and renewables) in the UK – and around the world in north America, EU and the Middle and Far East.
Readers include 75% of MSPs in the Scottish Parliament – and many more in Brussels and Westminster, as well as by industry association chiefs, company directors and senior executives, industry professionals, public sector bodies, regulators, industry professionals, think-tanks and trade unions.
But those organisations (in both the public and private sectors) who do not take advantage of these facts are being OVER-CHARGED in EVERY other media: on jobs; on contracts; on tenders.
No other media or communications outlet can provide as much value for your advertising money as Scottish Energy News.
Because of the global significance of Scotland’s oil, gas, tidal, wind, wave and other natural energy resources, Scottish Energy News provides a unique pan-global perspective. **
