Scottish hydrogen-fuelled train project on track

A hydrogen-fuelled train is due to be constructed and tested in Scotland, Arcola Energy announced in a LinkedIn post on 24 February.

The company said it will be using its Duty-Cycle and Powertrain modelling tools to establish indicative battery electric vehicle and fuel cell electric vehicle powertrain designs.

It said it will be collaborating with Brodie Engineering, University of St Andrews, Scottish Enterprise and Transport on the project.
