John Grady specialises in contractual and regulatory matters in the utility sectors and has extensive experience of advising on significant energy issues. As former in-house counsel at ScottishPower and during his time at Shepherd and Wedderburn, John has justifiably earned a reputation as a leading expert in the sector.

His insight and expertise have been deployed throughout the UK in transactions such as the 500MW interconnector between Scotland and Northern Ireland, New Electricity Trading Arrangements in England (NETA) and the unification of Scottish and English electricity markets, (BETTA).
