SIMEC Atlantis executives to take 20% pay cut

SIMEC Atlantis provided a COVID-19 update on 14 April, in which it explained that its CEO and executive team will take a 20% salary deferral as a result of the crisis. The Chairman and all Non-Executive Directors will take a 20% cut in their fees too. The company is making additional cost saving measures across its business including further reductions in project, overhead and people costs.

The company also said it has seen “minimal disruption” to the tidal business, while the Uskmouth Power Station conversion project work programmes are under review.
