Sturgeon emphasises just transition in response to climate emergency

First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon has emphasised the importance of ensuring a net zero just transition. She also spoke at a Green Alliance ‘Countdown to COP26’ Conference in London on 11 February, underlining Scotland’s commitment to leading the response to the climate emergency.

Sturgeon said: “We realise that creating and facing such change is a truly shared endeavour. The Scottish Government will continue to engage with public bodies, businesses, communities and individuals at every opportunity about the challenge we all face.”
